Job Description

A home based NPD (New Product Development) Chef role with regular travel throughout the UK is offered by one of the UK's leading suppliers of fish and seafood. Chefs with or without previous experience of NPD will be considered, so long as they have reached a senior level; either Sous or Head Chef and their CV can demonstrate that they have significant periods of employment where they have been accountable for menu development. Ideally the experience will have been with an emphasis on fish, and they will have been cost aware and been able to positively develop a team and business. Alternatively you could be a Chef who has already moved into a Sales environment, used to working directly with food related clients developing menus and delivering product solutions.

For this role the NPD Chef will work alongside the National Accounts Team and will focus on delivering creative menu solutions for branded estates, whilst maximising sales potential, and be responsible for fish and seafood product demonstrations internally within the business, but also with clients and at exhibitions. You will need to be presentable, highly organised and confident, and be able to think quickly interpreting and fulfilling customer needs. Your passion for food should be backed up with extensive knowledge yet you should be receptive to continue learning in new business environments.
