Technical Retail Standards Manager - Food Manufacturing

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a blue chip food manufacturer as Retail Standards Manager within the Technical Department. Reporting into the Factory Standards Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that the manufacturing sites produce products to Retailer specification and in line with Food Safety, Quality and GMP requirements. Specifically this should be achieved by supporting the sites conform to the retailer codes of practice, whilst maintaining a positive and proactive relationship with the retailer's technologists. Ensure that there is a robust and repeatable process for product manufacture and product launch excellence by coordinating pre-production trials, first production run, and post launch support. The role is based in Cambridgeshire, but there is the need to be flexible to travel across the sites in the group. A background in chilled food manufacturing would be desirable, ideally having worked with Major Retailer Technical Standards, for example M&S and Tesco.This client offers excellent career progression.
