Manufacturing Shift Manager

Job Description

My client manufacture branded and own label Food products for the major multiples and they are currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Shift Manager to work a fixed day shift. Working to GMP standards and ensuring product quality and health and safety are not compromised, you will ensure the delivery of agreed KPIs, supporting and developing a team of circa 50 operatives. You will also have the opportunity to lead cost reduction projects so previous experience of project management would be advantageous.

This role is suited to a strong people manager who has exposure to fast paced manufacturing, preferably food, and is keen to progress their career to the next level. You will be tenacious and driven and have the ability to lead and motivate a department through an innovative approach and excellent communication skills. You will possess good numeric and problem solving skills a 'can do' attitude and knowledge of OEE.

This role is commutable from areas including Chesterfield, Nottingham, Derby, Newark and Grantham.
