Engineering Shift Manager

Job Description

An established Food Manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire are looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Engineering Shift Manager to manage a small team of engineers maximising plant and equipment availability and utilisation to ensure business needs are met whilst ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are adhered to. You will also manage specific engineering and continuous improvement projects making recommendations for equipment replacement, upgrading and refurbishment in line with engineering budgets.

To be successful in your application you will have experience of supervising engineering teams supporting training and developing individuals managing their workloads and performance in an automated fast paced food manufacturing environment. You will have maintained PPM systems, had involvement in improvement projects controlling the implementation of CAPEX and managed budgets. An electrical bias is preferable however a mechanical bias with a 17th edition would also be considered.
