Process Development Technologist

Job Description

Food Process Technologist based in the West Midlands. Reporting to the Process Development Manager, this role is about progressing trials through the factory and managing the critical path. You will be required to achieve agreed launch timescales and costs, planning and requesting ingredient requirements for factory trials. This will include collating key information such as process yields and losses to ensure the most efficient and cost effective processes are in place. Strong people and communication skills are required as you will be working closely with manufacturing/technical teams to facilitate trials and to make sure products are made to specification and within food safety/quality guidelines. Previous process development and multi-component chilled food manufacturing experience are critical.
