Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Process Development Technologist with solid experience in the food industry and proven customer interfacing experience. With two technologists reporting in, you will have the confidence and skill to ensure the demanding launch programme is managed effectively. At the same time as delivering new product launches we need someone with lean manufacturing knowledge to continually drive cost and labour savings. Although the processes are robust, the team need an individual who is always looking to improve and refine processes. Reporting to the Development Controller, who is regularly visiting other sites within the group, you will be given the autonomy and responsibility to manage all aspects of product launches including HACCP, supplier and ingredient approval and of course all factory trials. Previous customer exposure is critical to this post as you will be the face of the business for the retailers and will host site visits and audits and a background in chilled multi-component food production is essential to understand the pace and complexity of the production processes.
