Process Development Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Director, your remit will include the day-to-day management of a team of process development technologists tasked with taking concept projects through the factory environment right through to product launch. As well as supporting new product development colleagues, another key aspect of the role will be working closely with manufacturing teams on existing products related to process improvement projects and cost reduction initiatives.

You will lead and motivate the site Process Development teams ensuring a right first time culture is continually adopted within the internal team and will therefore possess outstanding management and leadership skills. You will need to have experience of working with Quality and Product Development teams within the chilled food manufacturing industry, and demonstrate a complete understanding of factors affecting food safety and process variability of chilled products and raw materials.
