A heavy weight Operations Director based New Zealand: one of New Zealand's largest food processing companies is looking to appoint a top flight Operations Director with a breadth of food manufacturing experience gained in the UK.

Job Description

The remit of responsibility is very broad. You will represent the accountabilities for operations at Board level, and as a consequence contribute to the strategic development of the business. Responsibility covers manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, planning and warehousing.

You will have a highly accomplished team working for you who are keen to embrace future challenges with a strong team ethos.

To be considered, you will be a proven senior operator with knowledge of best practise principles - Lean manufacturing, 5s, Kaizen etc, and have a track record of making a continual improvement to every business issue you have faced. It is equally key that you have a strong affinity for your people and can point to examples of team development throughout your career. An additional criterion is that you have the presence and authority to influence and lead debate internally at all levels of management and externally with the leading manufacturing influencers.
