Despatch Manager

Job Description

Our client is a major manufacturer of chilled foods supplying the premium retail sector with high quality and innovative private label products. It is now looking to further strengthen the management team with the appointment of a Despatch Manager.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Despatch and Warehousing function including order picking, vehicle loading, safety, hygiene, and the achievement of department KPIs within budgeted targets.

Ideally with an understanding of an FMCG food warehousing environment you will have the ability to motivate and develop the Despatch team, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels. Leadership, planning and problem solving skills are a pre-requisite along with a desire to continually strive for improved standards in all areas.
