This interim assignment requires a real 'foodie'. You may have been a chef who has moved into a development role in food manufacturing or retail. This is an interesting project driving some brand new concepts and needs someone who really understands the food industry. An appreciation for what the customer wants and how to work with the supply base to bring this project together is critical. Your food experience and knowledge will augment your ability to work with an innovations consultant. Taking their ideas and your passion and 'know how' you will also be adept at the practical hands-on part. So, some initial kitchen work to make this project happen.

First class communication skills and an ability to manage the supply base. They will need full engagement and involvement from you, not just a simple briefing. As mentioned earlier, a development chef background or related experience is critical for this role.
