Job Description

Reporting to the Site Operations Director, the Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS) Manager is a pivotal member of the site senior management team. You will develop and manage the QEHS function across the site ensuring that all relevant certifiable standards, policies, procedures and customer requirements are adhered to and conform to legal and safety legislation. You will drive and support the site in the ongoing implementation of the UK QEHS strategy whilst demonstrating a pragmatic and pro-active working style and possessing an operational mindset. The QEHS manager is also responsible for managing the site laboratory function and an EHS Coordinator

The role requires a high calibre individual with a degree in Food Science or related discipline and NEBOSH Certificate.

You will have previous experience of managing a team.

Ideally you should also possess a Lead Assessor qualification.
