As Category Purchasing Manager for a large food manufacturing business, you will be setting and delivering purchasing strategies to optimise business expenditure and achieve competitive advantage across a range of manufacturing sites.

Job Description

Reporting to a Group Manager, you will be responsible for a substantial budget of c. £35m, so will need to demonstrate a track record in developing effective purchasing strategies. You will become something of a specialist externally and internally, influencing managers across the Group. You will be expected to undertake project management, sourcing and supplier selection, whilst driving cost reduction activities.

You will ideally have a purchasing background in Food Manufacturing
