Interim Microbiology Services Manager

Job Description

This interim role is for a 6 month period with a highly successful, growing and profitable business within the food industry. This is a pivotal role within the business, so ensuring that effective, relevant, and accurate advice is given to other departments is essential. The ability to resolve specific microbiological issues in an accurate and timely fashion is of paramount importance to this fast paced sector.

Within this role, efficient and effective support to corporate functions, manufacturing sites and retail customers will be required. You will have knowledge of microbiological protocols, polices and procedures. Effective man management skills are vital to this role coupled with good communication skills and ability to demonstrate good leadership skills.

You will possess a degree in Microbiology and be able to demonstrate experience of managing a laboratory environment, backed by at least five years experience within the food industry. Advanced Hygiene and Advanced HACCP certificates will be advantageous.
