Specifications Technologist

Job Description

Working for this fast moving chilled & ambient food manufacturer, supplying an innovative product range to a wide range of customers, the Specifications Technologist will be responsible for:

• Providing Technical expertise to the customers and throughout the business
• Advising of legal, safety and quality standards
• Providing specialist technical support to all functions
• To manage all customer specifications and related systems

Therefore, experience of creating, maintaining and circulating specifications for own label food products is vital. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating current legislation relating to the company's products and ensuring that all conform to relevant legal requirements. You will have experience of working with major retailer specifications systems HARA and artwork approval. Liaising with the customers and suppliers is critical.

Although ideal, this role does not require a currently proven Specifications Technologist - You may currently be assisting with specifications as part of your role in e.g. Technical Assistant role and if so we would still be very interested to hear from you.
