R&D Manager - Chilled Foods

Job Description

Our client is a fast paced chilled food manufacturer that requires an R&D Manager to both manage a highly motivated Development Team and develop strong, lasting relationships with the major food multiples based on inspiration, trust and expertise. You will be accountable for the creation and delivery of the Customer Innovation Programme, properly executed, on time, to budget with overall responsibility for ensuring the product portfolio continues to add value through timely product, packaging and process engineering. As part of the management team, actively participate in the wider issues of the group, taking on some responsibility for establishing and meeting the strategic objectives of the business. You will have successfully worked in a customer facing capacity with previous experience of chilled food manufacturing, new product development and multiple product launches. You must also have had previous first hand experience and a good track record with a major retailer.
