Job Description
A Food Technical Product Manager with expertise and a proven track record of success working within the dessert, bakery & confectionery, although this is the main focus of this role not exclusive. As the Product Manager you will be expected to collate and communicate via practical demonstrations, formal and informal product presentations the best practice of applications and use for all products; existing and new. You will work with customers directly and with internal colleagues educating and showcasing, maximising product potential advising and demonstrating the best product for each job. You will interact regularly, and play an active role with the company R&D (Research & Development) team working together to further evolve existing product ranges and develop new allowing the company to stay ahead of competitors. You may have come from a significant Pastry Chef background or have worked in technical sales within the bakery /dessert /pastry or confectionery sector and possess extremely high standards of food presentation and practical culinary skills, with a real passion for food that is backed up with a technical understanding. Your communication and interpersonal skills must be effective and able to reach all levels of personnel. It is imperative that you will be able to work with clients providing solutions to their very specific needs and proactively identify on-going opportunities. Ref JBM7776a
