Concept Development Technologist

Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Development Manager you will have at least one years experience in a similar concept development role. Our client is a fast paced chilled foods manufacturer supplying products to a number of the major retailers.

Job Description

You will be a team player who has a real understanding of ingredients and a passion for food. A good proportion of your time will be spent working with the development chefs helping to generate new concepts, benchmarking products and producing samples ready for customer presentations. You will also be responsible for costings, quality monitoring and benchmarking.

You will be a good communicator, presenting facts and ideas clearly, accurately and persuasively to drive the effective day-to-day running of the department. You will have a good understanding of the chilled foods market and an awareness of the wants and needs of both internal and external customers.
