Sales Export Planner - Food Manufacturing

Our client is a well-known household branded blue chip company looking to enhance its Sales Operation with an Export Planner. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for the administration of the export sales and to provide support to the Export Sales team as required. Therefore strong administrative experience and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively are essential. Knowledge of export administration and language skills would be an advantage, but are not essential. The ideal candidate will act as first point of contact for all order enquiries and administrative issues relating to export accounts. Co-ordinate the export sales order processing, including; order entry, export documentation (licences, certification etc), stock control, through liaison with planning and supply teams, credit control, including liaison with finance to ensure all monies are paid within payment terms, general administration / maintenance of records and ensure clear and transparent paperwork of each export claim to satisfy customs inspection requirements. Responsibilities will include the co-ordination of the effective and efficient distribution / freight of product, liaising with the Logistics, Planning and Customer Service teams as appropriate. Maintaining transportation and proof of delivery records as appropriate. Provide sales support to the Export team as appropriate, including maintaining records of sales and pricing history, monitoring performance against forecast and maximising incremental sales through effective account monitoring / support.
