Process Implementation Manager - Food Manufacturing

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Quality Department of a FTSE 100 blue chip food manufacturer. This person will play a key role in the implementation of new products, changes to products, new processes and changes to processes on the various business sites. The role will ensure that all documentation is complete and that all systems have been updated. This role is based in the Central Office but there will be a need to travel to the various manufacturing sites. Key responsibilities include: · To ensure the smooth transition from NPD to production of any new and developed products. · To ensure that any new or amendments to a process are controlled documented through a 'change management process'. · Production site support for product launches. · Production site support with process review and continual improvement whilst ensuring adherence to customer specifications. · PMP Training and administrative support. · Actively and rigorously promote a safety culture. · A flexible approach will be necessary for the holder of this role due to the broad and varied nature its requirements. The ideal candidate will have a food science background along with factory and process experience, as well as a strong understanding of retailer requirements. They will need to manage working at multiple sites and multiple products at the same time and therefore self-motivation and an ability to build cross-functional relationships is essential.
