Our major globally branded client is in the market for a senior NPD professional who can champion food innovation across its business. This is a highly challenging business environment where you have to be influential and cross-functional in approach, working with high calibre operations, technical and marketing colleagues to deliver the 3-5 year plan. You must be at the forefront of your sector, have a real understanding of food trends on a global platform, and have a strong consumer awareness. You will work with an international supply base, working in partnership with key players on both current and future product ranges. As this is an international business, your input will be sought on new initiatives that could be transferred to other markets. Leading the Product Development Team, you will need to be a motivational and inspiring manager who welcomes challenge and change. Your food credentials need to be first class, possibly gained within the retail, foodservice or manufacturing sectors. You need to show a strong personal commitment to product quality, a real flair for creative innovation and a well developed project management acumen. This is a really exciting role in a business that will certainly develop any candidate's skills base.
