Technical Manager

Summary

FMCG Food Manufacturer based in the West Midlands is looking to recruit a Technical Manager to lead a small technical team managing the site quality assurance, food safety and regulatory affairs.

Job Description

You will be required to develop and maintain strong customer relationships dealing with technical issues ensuring corrective action is taken. You will develop the Quality Management and HACCP systems in line with BRC and customers standards ensuring GMP throughout the site.

You will work with Development teams providing technical support, writing product/package specifications and overseeing labelling and nutritional analysis for new product launches.

This Technical Management role offers high levels of customer exposure therefore the successful applicant will have experience of liaising with the UK's major retailers. You will have experience in Quality Assurance and Technical Management within the food industry, preferably within a brewing or liquid filling environment and possess a BSc in Food Science or equivalent.
