Process Technologist

Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a major food producer in delivering innovative, new products within a fast paced chilled foods manufacturer. Working within a busy NPD team, your role as Process Technologist will be to manage and drive the smooth transfer of products from kitchen through to factory launch within the required timescales, quality and budget requirements.

Job Description

You will establish close working relationships with all relevant departments including technical, operations and commercial teams to ensure continual management of the critical path. You will run factory trials, manage pre and post production phases and correctly account for and document, each stage of the NPD process.

This will include collating key information such as process yields and losses to ensure the most efficient and cost effective processes are in place. Previous experience of working within a similar process or development technologist role is a must as is the ability to work within the changing demands of a fast paced food manufacturer.

The key is to find somebody who is a passionate 'completer finisher' character with a strong attention to detail.

Chilled, added value or dairy foods experience would be advantageous but not essential.
