This North East based food manufacturer is looking to appoint an Account Manager to nurture, drive and develop their food sales. As the Account Manager you will be responsible for maximising the growth potential of the frozen food category utilising your combination of strong account management and new business development skills. You will thrive in environments of change and relish the opportunity to work within a growing business with big ambitions. You will have experience of managing national accounts with a strong preference towards major food retailer account experience from customers such as Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury or Morrisons. You will need to be passionate about food so some level of NPD exposure would be useful though not essential. What is of most importance is that you are a strong communicator who can develop and build strong relationships with new and existing accounts. You will be comfortable with financial information and have exceptional presentation skills. This growing own label frozen food business is one that has aggressive growth plans so the suitable Account Manager must have the ambition and hunger to grow with the business through this exciting period.
