Job Description

This rapidly expanding food manufacturer of both branded and own label products is looking to appoint a commercially astute and hands on Technical Manager.

As Technical Manager you will have full responsibility for the sites quality function coordinating daily activity, managing related technical issues, liasing with all external technical bodies and driving strategy. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to engage and collaborate with Production, NPD and commercial teams. You will lead and manage all technical strategy with a common sense approach and have the ability to work in a fast paced and expanding environment.

Ideally with a food related degree you will either already be a hands on factory led Technical Manager or a Quality Manager looking for progression. The business supplies both retail and foodservice customers alike, so experience of BRC, HACCP and retail specification systems is essential. Of equal importance is the ability to lead from the front and work within an open, collaborative and dynamic management team.
