Product Development Manager, based Edinburgh: This major chilled food manufacturer is looking for 'foodie' with excellent man management skills to help coach and mentor a busy team of NPD experts.

Job Description

With a background in NPD or Technical Management for products launched to the major multiples, this will include, ideally, chilled products - but this is not essential! Far more important are your project and people management skills - both from an internal (colleague) perspective, but also from an external (customer) point of view. We are looking for individuals who thrive on developing not only products but people too.

Because you will be managing the team, the role requires you to be based at the factory at least four days a week. However, with the customer being based South of the Border, the opportunity exists for the right person to undertake a 'weekly commute' with assistance from your employer.
