Job Description

Our client is a multi-sited industry leading food manufacturer to some of the biggest names in retail. Operating from world-class state-of-the art facilities, and with an award-winning portfolio of products, our client is now looking to further strengthen the Senior team by the appointment of a Planning Manager Reporting to the Operations Director your primary role will be managing a team of 5 planners scheduling multiple production lines in a fast paced, multi-component assembly operation. Your responsibilities will include medium to long range forecasting, managing labour requirements and control of finished stock levels and you will be required to work closely with production and purchasing teams to ensure that the most efficient and cost effective plans are in place. Ideally degree educated and with significant experience in a similar role, you will be used to thriving in a fast moving, customer driven environment. You will be a strong, hands-on manager, demonstrating the ability to operate under pressure and lead from the front. You will have excellent organisational skills, strong commercial acumen and a flexible approach to work. Ref SJH7816
