Manufacturing Manager

Job Description

Our client is a major multi-national manufacturer of premium chilled and frozen products supplying the retail sector with branded and own label ranges. With significant capital investment planned, a business that is growing year on year and an award winning product portfolio, our client is now looking to further strengthen the senior management team with the appointment of a Manufacturing Manager.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and operating alongside the wider senior factory team, you will have full responsibility for a team of circa 120 people and will manage day-to-day manufacturing operations across the area under your control. Responsibilities will include efficient delivery of factory production plan, KPI's, product quality and engineering performance along with management of any disciplinary issues arising.

Ideally with a degree in a food related subject, you will have appropriate management experience leading a team in a similar department in a fast moving, customer driven environment. You will be a visionary leader and will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of 'modern manufacturing techniques' along with a desire to develop your career. A good communicator and team player you will have excellent organisational skills, strong commercial acumen and a flexible approach to work.
