Maintenance Manager

Our client is a major multi-site manufacturer of premium chilled and frozen food products supplying the retail sector with branded and own-label ranges.

Job Description

With significant recent capital investment, a business that is growing year on year and an award winning product portfolio, our client is now looking to further strengthen the senior management team with the appointment of a Maintenance Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering and operating alongside the wider management team, you will have full responsibility for the site maintenance function coordinating daily activity for a team of up to 20 engineers. Your remit will include managing breakdowns, co-ordinating repairs and overseeing the site Planned Preventative Maintenance system with a view to assisting the manufacturing team to achieve stringent KIP targets based around efficiency, downtime and quality.

Ideally with a degree in an engineering related subject, you will have appropriate management experience heading up a Maintenance team in a fast moving, customer driven environment. You will be a strong, numbers driven leader, demonstrating the ability to think clearly through the issues and identifying robust solutions.

A good communicator and team player you will have excellent organisational skills, strong commercial acumen and a flexible approach to work.
