Site Operations Manager - Food Manufacturing

Job Description

This operations role needs a candidate with a strong background in chilled food manufacture. You need to demonstrate excellent leadership to drive this site and deliver on the operational challenges involved. Having enjoyed growth this year with ambitious plans to expand the business over the next 2 years our client need a strong operator in this role. We are looking for a background in chilled food manufacture and multi-component experience would be an advantge. Career achievements needs to be tangible operational improvements using leadership, manufacturing methodologies e.g. continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. This is not a role for a CI theorist, someone who has a good common sense approach who to lean manufacturing and can embed into the daily operations of the business. The ideal candidate will demonstrate: · Business acumen · Manufacturing experience e.g. SIC, Lean techniques · High standard management · Leadership and Coaching skills You will have managed a number of teams via the shift management tier and will bring the charisma and drive required at this level. Numercy and analytical skills are required to sit close to the operation and lead the team effectively. Ref SLM7853
