Product Development Manager (NPD)

Job Description

A leading branded drinks company has posted some fantastic results and is looking for a Product Development (NPD) Manager with a creative mind to help take this company to new heights. The successful candidate will be working with instantly recognisable brands and a company that is a real success story.

Reporting to the Research and Development Manager and working closely with our marketing and manufacturing teams, you will be responsible for creating new drinks and for managing the technical aspects of projects from brief conception to delivery to the market. The role also includes the responsibility for developing and managing the performance of another Technologist.

You will be degree qualified in a food related subject with a proven expertise in drink NPD and previous experience of product development in the soft drinks industry. Consumer focus, creativity, results driven and strong communication skills will be essential to the success of the role. Good sensory skills, following scientifically robust approaches as well as demonstrating a good understanding of food regulations are important requirements of the role.
