Technical & Quality (QA) Assistant (Food)

Job Description

We are currently recruiting a broad Technical Assistant role for a successful seafood operation in the South West. This company has a significant market share supplying the major multiples and a very interesting supply base operation and is now looking for someone to help the technical and quality team.

What is very interesting about this role is the broad remit that it will cover - no two days will be the same! One day you will be assisting the QA team within the factory, the next day writing specifications using the retailers online web systems or dealing with customer complaints and you could even be involved in the NPD process.

Therefore we require someone who has a broad knowledge of the food industry and a real passion for it too. Knowledge and ideally experience of specification writing, QA, auditing, customer complaints, artwork and NPD would be an added benefit. A food science graduate with a placement could well be ideal for this role.
