Job Description

A Food NPD Technologist required for a division of one of the largest food groups who have a notable reputation for their progressive approach to product innovation and technologies in food manufacturing.

Previous experience working in a concept NPD role ideally in a meat environment would be ideal, with a practical understanding of process. This role will add strength to an existing team who are looking to take the category to a new level through new innovation. Responsible for developing new and evolving existing products and flavour profiles. Previous experience and success of working with meat products i.e. marinated meats, burgers, sausages or cooked meats would be ideal or you could have come from an ingredients background where you have developed flavour profiles for meat based products.

You will be tasked to interpret briefs and deliver new ideas, accurately producing samples and present your products internally and to clients. You'll also need to be able to work to cost and produce accurate costing documentation.
