Zone Leader - Food Manufacturing

Job Description

Our client has a blue chip reputation with multiple sites, within a fast paced food-manufacturing environment looking for a Zone Leader to work a permanent night shift, Monday to Thursday, 11pm - 8am.
We are looking for a progressive Team Leader who has a strong engineering bias, either mechanical or electrical, (NVQ Level 3 or above).

As Zone Leader within food manufacturing operation you will be responsible for overall zone performance for the shift in terms of:

Efficiency
Productivity
Waste
GMP

The ideal Zone Leader will have a basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and come with a strong Health & Safety culture awareness.

You will have experience of managing small highly skilled shift teams, in terms of people development and production optimisation. The ideal candidate will be analytical with good numerical skills and the ability to lead and motivate teams.
