Senior Production Planner - Food Manufacturing

Job Description

This leading chilled food manufacturer is looking for a Senior Production Planner to work within their supply chain. Working for this major chilled food manufacturer, this role reports in to the Supply Chain Manager. The purpose of the planner is to be the focal point for communication between production, supply chain, commercial and warehouse. To ensure accurate information is given to production and schedule lines to maximise performance and provide 100% customer service. They are looking for an individual who enjoys working with spreadsheets and numbers and understands data. To apply you must have experience within a fast moving planning department in a food-manufacturing unit. You will need to demonstrate that you are capable of working at pace and within time constraints as within this food environment all departments work to daily targets. The buzz is immense and the planning department is at the hub of all activities for the factory. The role is a Sunday to Thursday position with hours of work 8am - 5pm and this role is looking for a confidant decision maker with good computer skills.
