Senior Buyer

Job Description

This senior buying role will be solely accountable for the sourcing and procurement of a range of food raw material products, packaging items and in directs, such as utilities etc. You will manage all existing supply base issues plus be actively involved in sourcing new sources of supply when appropriate, including NPD projects. You will focus on the development and implementation of a new purchasing strategy with robust KPIs to ensure delivery of targets and service levels. It is also critical that you have strong skills in cross-functional working within the business team. CIPS qualification would be desirable rather than necessary.
