NPD Manager

Job Description

This is a truly exciting role in a major branded bakery business (US owned) that has a growing presence in the UK. It requires an NPD professional who has a strong mix of creative, commercial and technical acumen, coupled with a robust project management ability. To be successful in this dynamic environment, you need to be a real self-starter - someone with loads of ideas and the ability to ensure on time delivery of new product concepts to the business. You also need to be a real foodie who is entirely engaged with the product category, the brand and the entrepreneurial ethos of the business. Working out of a fairly small UK head office operation, you will be accountable for developing the current product portfolio as well as more blue-sky innovation projects to take the brand into new categories. This is a challenging but really exciting new role creation in a business that is definitely going places in the UK, and it would be a great learning experience for an ambitious and super confident NPD Manager.
