Food NPD Manager / Technical Specialist

Job Description

My Client based in West Yorkshire are recruiting for an NPD Manager / Technical specialist to join their leading international food company. You will be the lead Technical Manager on site, responsible for the quality of technical developments on the products, flavour and texture, working closely with operations, production and quality and commercial teams.

As the Food NPD / Technical Specialist you will be responsible for:

*Managing the technical team, driving technical developments and NPD from concept to launch managing all retailers requirements
*Establishing good technical relationships within retailer accounts through customer meetings and presentations
*Supporting the National Account Managers keeping awareness of commercial implications
*Investigating and implementing new technologies/developments

You will posses:

*Ability to communicate and influence at all level
*Working factory NPD/Technical experience.
*Sound understanding of food labelling and nutrition.
*Strong project and time management skills
