Job Description

Our client is a major food group who supply own label chilled food products to the UK retail and foodservice sectors. Renowned for providing innovative and attractive products to all the major UK retailers, the business is focussed on attracting individuals who share its passion for the production and development of quality food products.

The business is currently experiencing a growth period and as a result is looking to add a Technologist to assist in the development of systems and processes with the manufacturing environment.

You will identify, assess and develop opportunities that in turn will deliver measurable cost improvements, quality improvements and waste reduction. You will work with Product Development, Technical, Engineering and Operational colleagues to drive projects to successful conclusions and will be seen as a key part of the innovation process.

To be considered you will have worked in a similar manufacturing environment as a Process Technologist / currently with either a technical or engineering bias. Educated to degree level in a related discipline such as Food Technology or Food Science, you will have proven process improvement experience gained in a food manufacturing environment.
