First Line Managers - FMCG

Job Description

Our client is a major food group who supply own label chilled food products to the UK retail and food service sectors. Renowned for providing innovative and attractive products to all the major UK retailers, the business is focussed on attracting individuals who share its passion for the production and development of quality foods.

As a result of growth and change within the business they are now looking to strengthen their production management team with Front Line/Shift Managers.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
· Manufacturing experience e.g. SIC, Lean techniques
· Proven ability in implementing and delivering on KPI's
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to manage large multi skilled production teams
· Retailer/BRC audit knowledge
· Leadership and Coaching skills

You will have experience of managing shift production teams, in terms of people development and production optimisation. The ideal candidate will be a hands on team manager who will be focussed on getting the job done and production targets met even if this means working on the line all day yourself!
