About Coldwater
Coldwater Seafood was formed in 1996 following the acquisition of Faroe Seafood Company by the Icelandic Group. Coldwater manufacture over 40 different species of chilled and frozen fish and shellfish for the following customers Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Morrisons, ASDA, Iceland and Aldi.

You will be expecting, or will have attained, a 2:1 degree or above or more probably undertaken the 4 years Master in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering and ideally have one years experience within a manufacturing environment.

From day one the Engineer will have a clear role within the business these roles will rotate through the first 2 years. The objective will be to give as broad an exposure as possible to different products, processes and customers. Typical assignments are:

Shift Support Engineer (responsibility for monitoring equipment performance and helping your colleagues to resolve any issues identified)
Process Engineer (involving the further development or installation of new equipment for our products)
Engineering Systems (helping develop and maintain systems for the business)

Development Program
A tailor made program of education, training, coaching and development which will give the individual the opportunity to develop a range of technical, professional, business, management and people skills. The program will encompass elements of directed study; mentoring; project work with guided written assignments and selected courses, but the major emphasis will be on experiential learning.

Support
A senior development mentor (program manager) as a regular point of contact during the 2 year program and one or two 'specialist' development mentors with high levels of skill and experience within the business or specialism within the specific function, who is able to provide you with technical and business support and guidance.

Start Date: Opportunities to start in April 2010 and September 2010
Salary: £20 - £22k
Hours of work: Nominally 37.5 hours per week flexible as required.
Holidays: 25 days per year plus statutory days
Relocation package: Bed & Breakfast provided for up to 4 weeks if needed.
Pension: Coldwater defined contribution scheme available after 12mths employment
