Business Development Manager, Europe

Job Description

Business Development Manager, Europe - based UK, France or Spain: this role is key in the creation and implementation of cross-country commercial and manufacturing opportunities for a major chilled food player. Working with a number of business units you will identify and propose synergies from existing manufacturing capabilities, encourage internalisation of component manufacture and seek new commercial avenues to optimise both customer and product opportunities. This will be focused on inter-company business - for example from Belgium to France, Czech Republic to Spain or Italy to the UK.

Key characteristics of the selected individual will be strong win / win influencing skills, commercial and financial acumen as well as the ability to project manage and deliver projects. Ideally, you will have more than one European language. Broad food industry experience is sought, embracing either hot or cold eating, along with a strong understanding across the range of functions - manufacturing, technical, purchasing, supply chain and logistics.
