Job Description

Communications Manager based Paris: a blue chip, international food business based in Paris is looking to appoint a fluent ENGLISH speaker to its Communications team. Clearly you will need to have a desire to learn/improve your French for social reasons, but as the working day is conducted on an international basis in English, fluent French is not a prerequisite. Ideally CIM qualified, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative marketing plans for a technical product portfolio and working with agencies to ensure delivery. You will need to be experienced in the full marketing mix to deliver appropriate programmes which are aligned with the business strategy whilst meeting overall corporate requirements. Strategies will embrace:

Brand Communications
Advertising and PR campaigns
Crisis Communications
Corporate Communications
Internal / External Communications

The communication department handles the internal, external and crises communications for specific business areas. It assists, amongst others, the product managers, business unit managers and commercial directors of the company in their communications needs. As many products are highly technical in nature, you will play a key role in ensuring communication is tailored to meet relevant target audiences. A minimum of 10 years marcomms experience working across multi-channel communications is preferred in a business-to-business or trade marketing environment. As this is an influential role at a senior level, your interpersonal skills will need to be second to none.
