Interim Engineering Manager

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Engineering Manager to join a fast paced manufacturing environment. This is a chilled foods business, which requires an Engineering Manager to join the senior operational team. The candidate will have a breadth of experience including planned preventative maintenance, Health & Safety, budgetary management and People Management Skills. Motivating and developing your team is key within this role. Liaising and being able to influence other functions is part of this role.

You will need:

Exposure to a food manufacturing environment where efficiency and reliability are key.
Professional Engineer (Degree, HND, or previous experience operating as a Professional Engineering Manager in a Food manufacturing environment)
Good aptitude for engineering. Ideally with both mechanical and electrical skills.
Previous management experience of Multi-skilled Engineers.
Experience of managing an engineering budget.
Experience of managing projects.
