Process / Implementation Technologist (Food)

Job Description

An Implementation Technologist is required to join a busy and progressive food manufacturing business in the Shropshire area. After a period of consolidation this company is now ready to cement itself as a market leader by driving innovative new products through its NPD team and concentrating on its core product sectors.

This roles focus will be to take the highly creative products from the concept team and then scale them up in the factory. As a Technologist you will work closely with creative NPD, Technical and Manufacturing colleagues to ensure that process innovation meets the overall needs of the business and customer expectation. You will also champion/fully understand the customers NPD procedures and web based systems, ability to input specifications to their levels and actively quantify incurred cost at each stage.

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in a process based role within a chilled food business. It is vital that applicants have previous experience of, ideally at least one or more of the following: HARA, FIND, Webtraq / ASPECT and CREATIONS. You should also understand the pressures and time scales associated with working within a chilled food environment.
