Team Manager (Food)

Job Description

Business is extremely busy at one of our major clients and they require an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to lead the production team on the evening shift. The company works in the fast moving chilled food sector and therefore requires someone who can handle a high pressure and fast moving environment.

This role entails managing the evening shift of a busy food manufacturer. Key responsibilities will include motivating and inspiring the production team (up to 115) alongside another team manager. You will also be responsible for driving process efficiency and continuous improvement projects. Lean Manufacturing experience will be an added advantage.

Ideally, they would like you to have had experience of the food manufacturing sector but for outstanding people managers, they will make an exception provided you have a track record in FMCG production where you have continually improved performance, through your teams, of both efficiencies and quality. What is important is that you are aware of the timelines and pressures involved in food production coupled with excellent motivating and inspiring skills.
