Process Developer

Job Description

One of our key clients is undergoing an positive expansion of their Development (NPD) Team and require a Process Developer / Technologist to join there experienced and supportive team. This company is a key player in there sector and supply highly creative products.

We require someone to progress approved recipes and projects through the factory to achieve agreed launch timescales. The candidate shall also ensure that product quality can be replicated and accurate costing information is collected. This roles focus will be to take the highly creative products from the Concept Team and then scale them up in the factory. As a Technologist you will work closely with creative NPD, Technical and Manufacturing colleagues to ensure that process innovation meets the overall needs of the business and customer expectation. You will also champion/fully understand the customers NPD procedures and web based systems, ability to input specifications to their levels and actively quantify incurred cost at each stage.

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in a process based role within a chilled food business. Ideally, candidates will have specification experience with one of the major retailers systems. You should also understand the pressures and time scales associated with working within a chilled food environment.
