Senior Development Chef

Job Description

This is the NPD Chef job that every Development Chef aspires to - working on high end innovation projects across a diverse catalogue of chilled products with a strong emphasis on genuinely driving innovation, delivering newness and first to market innovation in both product and packaging. You will be developing chilled products for the high street retailer that are well known for setting trends that others will want to follow and bench mark against. Working as part of a larger NPD team there will be support and structure from seasoned NPD Chefs and other Food Development Professionals.

To successfully fulfil this role you will need to demonstrate a broad culinary knowledge, an understanding of global food tends, and a talent for developing recipes that will keep the client ahead of the main stream market trends. Your Chef credentials should be impeccable, having trained in well respected kitchens and able to show a track record of stability and progression and most importantly have an outstanding passion for food and an educated palate, able to converse with others, educating, enthusing and engaging in all aspects of food.

A definite advantage for this role would be previous experience in a similar NPD Chef role however we will consider exceptional Chefs looking to move into this arena.
