NPD CO-ORDINATOR

Job Description

This role would ideally suit a well verse NPD Process or NPD Technologist looking for the next career move with increased accountability. You will need to be an organised and methodical individual who is able to work with patience and determination to see the smooth transition of products form kitchen sign off through the factory, always maintaining the agreed critical path, and commercial constraints and savings where possible. You will have had previous experience of working from brief through to launch able to deliver first time, providing clear and directive instruction with clarity to all functions involved. Accountable for ensuing that processes and equipment are trialled and maximised delivering efficiency and cost effectiveness. Working with factory teams making recommendations, a good problem solver pragmatic and resourceful. A real team player who values others expertise yet not afraid to question or challenge. It is vital that you have an appropriate degree of computer literacy and numeracy.

The role will involve working as part of the Food NPD Team supporting and liaising with NPD Managers, Chefs and Account Managers and wider cross-functional teams to ensure communication is effective from brief through to launch. You will need to be a highly organised individual who can plan and prioritise, who can take a proactive and common sense approach from the beginning. You will need to have good computer skills and a passion for food would help you fit right into this team who will provide support and mentoring encouraging personal growth. You will be involved in product hand over of all approved recipes to ensure accuracy of ingredients and record information on new ingredients and product history detail and prepare Retailer Technical handover information. You will be involved in ingredient sourcing and trials, accountable for existing ingredient utilisation recommendations. There will also be packaging involvement liaising with artwork and design.
