Food for thought! We are seeking a talented Chef with or without previous manufacturing experience; with would be a distinct advantage but not a prerequisite.

This is a superior opportunity for a Chef who has an exceptional background, with a real depth of understanding of food trends, culinary techniques, ingredient and produce; (UK and Worldwide) who can fulfil this prestigious post as NPD Chef servicing a leading UK retail client with chilled added value products.

A Chef who through the cv can demonstrate culinary credibility. As the site Development Chef you will daily be interpreting customer briefs, and be instinctively able to identify new product opportunities. You will need to engage and excite the internal senior management team and the customer with product diversity and innovation.

Working with the site NPD team you will ensure that the customer maintains their outstanding reputation in the market place regularly evaluating competitors products, keeping the site up to date with new and emerging food trends from a retail and restaurant perspective. You will always however take a fresh approach and lead the way. Through product presentations internally and to the customer directly you should be able to showcase not only your own food skills but also the capabilities of the site delivering innovative solutions that support business innovation and commercial strategies. You will need to set yourself high standard, be self motivated have an infectious and engaging enthusiasm for food that will inspire and spur others on. Be meticulous at organisation and prioritisation with a keen eye for detail be a supportive team player who assertive yet pervasive.
