QA Manager

Job Description

My client is an exciting food manufacturer who holds innovation and quality at the forefront of everything they do. They are a major provider of fresh produce products to all the major UK retailers.

As a result of recent success and customer aquistion, they are now looking to strengthen their production operation with an additional senior QA Manager.

As Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee, drive and motivate a large team of QC's and QA's ensuring that the quality of product throughout the production process maintains at the highest level. You will be accountable for ensuring that products and process controls are in compliance with technical and customer specifications and be tasked with championing technical best practice at all times.

Ideally from a technical and quality focussed background with experience of working with fresh produce such as fruit, vegetables, potatoes or salads; you will have strong man-management skills and a strong attention for detail. Anyone with a strong experience of HACCP and BRC Auditing would also be highly favourable.
